A Knox Box holds a key to your home in a secure lockbox that only the Fire District can open. If you can't get to the door in an emergency, our crews can still get in without forcing it. Questions? Email firemarshal@mhfire.org.
Terms of Use
- The issued Knox Box is the property of the Maryland Heights Fire Protection District and is issued to applicants on a loaner program.
- The Knox Box shall be returned to the Fire District when the applicant is no longer in need of services, or no longer resides at the current address.
- MHFPD will contact applicants quarterly to assess current need for the Knox Box program.
- The applicant agrees to these inquiries upon accepting use of the MHFPD Knox Box program.
