Icy Roads Don’t Stop This Crew!

Maryland Heights Fire Protection District crew pushing stretcher up icy road to hospitalSunday, February 10, 2019

Ambulance Crew 4427 went above and beyond the call of duty yesterday to deliver their patient safely to the emergency room after the ambulance they were in had an accident of its own on the icy roadways.  You can see a picture here of Jonathan Stillpass and Shaylor Taetz pushing the stretcher on foot up an icy, hilly roadway to reach SSM Health Depaul Hospital.

The picture was so popular on social media that KSDK Channel 5 did an interview with one of the mean, Shaylor Taetz.  You can watch the video here:  https://www.ksdk.com/article/news/local/maryland-heights-firefighters-push-woman-to-the-hospital-on-icy-roads/63-af564581-969f-479f-a65f-7a8102eeca80
